Sergio Salvaneschi (Milan, 1937) is an Italian composer who initially trained in the environment of Teatro alla Scala and later devoted himself to composition, developing a musical language that combines tradition with contemporary exploration. His output includes piano, chamber, and orchestral works, with particular attention to the expressive possibilities of modern musical writing. Among his piano works, the collections Disgregazioni, Dissonanze, and the Sonatas stand out, in which he explores harmonic tension, timbral contrasts, and innovative formal structures.
