The title of the piece, “L’espace indicible”, is taken from a concept by the architect Le Corbusier: “When a work reaches its highest degree of intensity, proportion, quality of execution, and perfection, a phenomenon of ineffable space occurs: places begin to radiate, they radiate physically. They create what I call ‘ineffable space’, that is, a shock that does not depend on dimensions but on the quality of perfection. It is the realm of the ineffable.”

For Le Corbusier, architectural spaces of particular quality and proportion can radiate energy.
This gives rise to a special perception that the Swiss architect defines as “ineffable space”.
This composition by Giuseppe Azzarelli is intended as a sonic reflection of this feeling.
Born within the electronic music project “Cité Radieuse”, this version is for solo piano.
A meditative piece that, around a calm and unceasing rhythm, sets shifting and unexpected feelings in motion.
